We did not win the contract. Our pricing was higher than the competitors and the body corporate committee decided to stay with the existing provider rather than make a change for what they thought was a relatively modest service difference. That is a decision we see all the time. Committees are responsible for body corporate funds and saving money on cleaning sounds like the right call until the cleaning starts failing.

The previous cleaning company kept the contract for a while longer but the standard never lifted to what the building actually needed. Residents were complaining at body corporate meetings. The building manager was spending time he did not have following up with the cleaner.
